On the 13th of November a man came into us telling us alll about his career as an engineer. He also gave us advice to follow our dream job no matter what, hi was warned not to as there were few jobs availble at the time but it worked out to be a wise choice as jobs

Dr. Rory Goodbody

Yesterday on the 9th of October we had a visit speaker who told us all about the pharmaceutical industry and how he choose he career. His name was Dr. Rory Goodbody. He explained roughly how he became a medical liason who worked for Astellas company. He explained how he changed from wanting to be a pilote to a pharmacist.

Austism Lecture

On Tuesday the 25th we had a speaker who told us all about having autism and stories about his son who had a very bad case of it. Denis Sexton knew pretty much everything there was to know about autism. His son John Sexton was dignoised in 1986. Denis discussed what signs people showed when they had autism.He said they have little or no speech,no eye contact when talking to a person, obsessive over certain things. For instance John obsessed for many years that every door or gate must be closed when opened. This would make every walk a huge task. Some say autistic people are the genious's of this world and without them we would still be living in a cave. It is said einsteain

Chernobyl

Yesterday was the 18th of September, we had two guest speakers who had gone to Belerus. Siobheal Nic Eochaidh who was the Dublin rose last year in 2011 and Ian Cullinane who was her escort. They came to talk to us about the experience they had from when they went to Belerus to visit some of the chernobyl victims. They visited an orphanage and told us about the horrific condictions the children there lived in.
